"We've been to this special place twice now, and enjoyed memorable stays on both occasions. The location is stunning, and the ambience of the cottage is charming. One of our favourite spots in Aotearoa."
The perfect Weekender! Funky beach house made up of a 1900's Railway Carriage.
8/10 Good
"Really responsive and flexible host. Just a few minutes walk to the beach. Well equipped kitchen. The refrigerator is small, so if you're traveling with 4 or more people, or staying several days it's worth bringing a chilly bin and ice."
Coastal Rural Haven with mind blowing Sea Views! 10 minutes South of Moeraki.
8/10 Good
"Fantastic location, beautiful views of the sunrise across the ocean straight from the master bedroom. Watching the ocean change throughout the day was such a perk of this place. The wild bunnies, and train behind the house were added excitements. Shag Point is just across the road, and both Moeraki and Palmerston about 15 mins away. The house was warm and bright, with a well equipped kitchen for a meal. General traffic noise could be heard with windows open, but easily ignored and traffic could not be seen. The driveway is easily accessed, though would recommend turning around in Shag Point Road if approaching from the North, and lots of space for parking up the driveway. The host was very communicative, helpful, and quick to reply. Would 100% recommend for couples, or small groups. We definitely would love to stay again!!"
"Friendly host and lovely place. We’d love to come and stay again!! Unfortunately we got a foggy few days so we didn’t get to see the view at its best, but we still had a relaxing time. A great selection of books and games to play was a bonus."
